Pastor Jonathan Richardson, M.Div.

Pastor Jonathan Richardson is a native of Augusta, GA.  At the age of 18 he received a divine visitation with a mandate to "GO AND PREACH THE WORD."  

 

Since this time he has been committed to preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He graduated from Morehouse College in 2005 (B.A. Finance) and Emory Theology School in 2010 (M.Div) and is currently pursuing a Master's of Theology (Th.M).   

 

Pastor Richardson always had a burning desire that he would ultimately plant a church.  On November 9th 2014 Faith Forward Church hosted its inaugural worship experience with a vision of "CHANGING HEARTS, GROWING LEADERS, EMPOWERING DISCIPLES, BUILDING COMMUNITIES, AND IMPACTING NATIONS."  LEAD Church's motto is to "Lead culture to Christ." 

 

Pastor Richardson believes in the power of prayer, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and has a heart for God and a heart for people. In 2018 Pastor Richardson received the Bishop Paul S. Morton Award for Excellence in the Emerging Church for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. He is the author of "Driving In The Faith Lane", and host of Faith Forward Today on Atlanta TV 57.

 

He is a devoted husband, father, and friend and is committed to fulfilling all of these roles as he carries out his calling to Pastor and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
